This marks the start of cross-border services on the China-Laos line, which initially opened in December 2021 for services between Kunming and Mohan in China, as well as between Vientiane and Boten in Loas.

Now, the start of cross-border travel is expected to significantly boost connectivity and tourism between the two countries.
