The new model is expected to deliver an enhanced passenger experience on the Ziyang Line. This urban line connects Chengdu Tianfu New District, Eastern New District and Ziyang City. Upon operation, it will significantly increase the transport capacity in Chengdu City and Ziyang City.

The remaining trains for this project are expected to be delivered later this year prior to the start of service.

For passenger comfort, the vehicles are equipped with ventilation fans that can be adjusted according to the number of passengers.

In addition, multiple intelligent systems and information security technologies are used to ensure that the train is safer, smarter and faster.
