Temperature, Humidity, CO2, Atmospheric Pressure and VOC Sensors for Railway Vehicles
The company SENSIT s.r.o. has been in the Czech market since 1991. The company has been engaged in the development, production and supply of special temperature sensors, relative humidity sensors, CO2 sensors, atmospheric pressure sensors and VOC sensors for railway vehicles since 2004.
SENSIT s.r.o. also manufactures electronic and bimetal temperature switches and converters for railway vehicles.
Products for this segment must meet specific properties defined in the so-called railway standards: EN 50155, EN 61373, EN 50121-3-2, and EN 45545-2 or NFPA 130. These include; especially resistance to vibrations, electrical safety, meeting fire standards and electronic components that have to meet the conditions for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC). All these characteristics are taken into consideration during development – this is confirmed with a test report and a certificate issued by an independent accredited testing laboratory.

Temperature Converters for Railway Vehicles
Temperature/current and temperature/voltage converters made by SENSIT s.r.o. meet all railway standards of EN 50155, EN 61373, EN 50121-3-2 and EN 45545-2.
We are able to offer the converters for mounting on a DIN rail or wall-mounted.
Standard outputs include:
- 4 to 20 mA
- 0 to 10 V
We are also preparing a version with an RS 485 output and CAN protocol.
Inputs include: Pt 100, Pt 1000, Ni 1000.
Electronic and Bimetal Temperature Switches for Railway Vehicles

The temperature switch operates in 5 different modes adjustable by users. We can offer you version of temperature switches by bimetal technology.
Customized Temperature Sensors
The company SENSIT s.r.o. has its own design and production centres. We are able to produce a customized temperature or other sensors directly for a given application on the basis of customer’s requirements. Samples are usually produced within 3 weeks from project assignment. When the final design of a sensor has been approved, we proceed it to serial production. Our supplied sensors include all protocols according to railway standards.
In addition, we offer cooperation in the area of development of electronics for railway vehicles. On customer’s requirement, we are able to design and produce a product directly for your application.
