ModernCare services provide comprehensive fleet modernisation and refurbishment work, such as lifecycle extensions, technical modifications, and changes in commercial appearance. SmartCare solutions focuses on leveraging the latest technology, data and analytics. The aim is to provide data to support decision-making by using artificial intelligence and IoT. VR FleetCare offers easy-to-implement and cost-effective solutions for fleet management, automation of fleet inspection, and track and fleet condition monitoring. ComponentCare services covers troubleshooting, testing, fault repairs and comprehensive maintenance for bogies, brakes, electrical mechanical components, electronic components, and power electronics.

VR FleetCare has 160 years of experience in rolling stock maintenance, both operational and heavy maintenance and lifecycle management. Elron – Bogie Maintenance (Flirt-trains): Maintenance of bogies and gearboxes of diesel and electric Flirt trains according to the maintenance programme. Complete inspection and maintenance of 100 bogies of motor and passenger cars and 110 gearboxes. Repair and replacement of defective components.
Finnish Transport Infrastructure Agency – Switch Condition Monitoring: Installed system in Finland providing real-time situational picture of switch operations and condition to allow traffic to continue safely and without interruptions. Improves operational reliability through the optimisation of maintenance – proactive maintenance based on the actual condition of switches.
