Rail Infrastructure

HIRD Rail Development is an international supplier of leading-edge, rail infrastructure products and services. Our aim is to showcase the very best of what the rail industry has to offer and champion excellence in rail technologies. From anti-trespass systems through to advances in cold hole expansion (CBX), sustainable polymer sleepers to sophisticated tools for rail and sleeper repair, we recognise the crucial role engineering plays in shaping the world’s rail future.

HRD BV is the group’s European arm, representing our products and services into the wider European market.

Cable Management Solutions for Rail

Trough-Tec Systems (TTS) was established in 2012 to supply Green Trough to the European rail industry, since then TTS has developed a full range of cable management solutions and the market’s only combined anti-slip walkway and cable management system.

Sustainability in the Rail Industry

Our ethos is simple: provide sustainable world-class products and service. Our product portfolio reflects our commitment to environmental sustainability: Green Trough is manufactured from 100% recycled household plastic.

We provide value engineered solutions best suited to asset managers who are integrating technology into their operations.  Planning ahead with TTS provides a sustainable solution for the future proofing of cable routes as all units have been designed to maximise their internal capacity.

The HIRD Group’s suite of products aim to support the industry’s mission to decarbonise the network whilst proving innovative, reliable, and green solutions to the rail industry, making installation easier and improving efficiencies.
