Low Height Railway Noise Barriers

SOUNDIM LTD is an innovative Finnish company established in 2012. The company’s business is based on commercialisation of its internationally recognised and patented innovations. The future focus is not just to become the market leader in low height railway noise barriers, but to establish a standard railroad noise reduction in surrounding environment without blocking the view.

In our living environment, we value open space and unrestricted scenery. As passengers, we like to look out and observe the landscape. When designing solutions to prevent railroad noise, we are not eager to compromise those values. With Soundim’s solution, we don’t have to.

Soundim low height noise barriers block the noise, not your view. Soundim railway noise barriers are designed to reduce the noise by at least 50%, especially high frequencies which are considered to be the most disturbing. Soundim light weight barrier blocks enable easy and fast installation, minimising the need of labour and cost of work. The railway traffic downtime is short, keeping railway operators happy.

Soundim low height barriers can be installed directly to the track bed, allowing the solution to be uniform and independent from surroundings with minimum impact on landscape. Soundim barriers are an effective way to reduce noise pollution. They reduce the visual spoiling of landscapes and views, and can be installed in places where other solutions are not feasible. Soundim uses recyclable materials. Use of materials is lower than in traditional barriers. Implementation does not require landscaping and foundation work. Barriers are easy to dismantle and reuse.
