Under the background of dramatic development of southeastern Asian railway traffic construction, the 2nd ASEAN Rail Summit 2018 will be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, themed on “One Belt One Road, All-dimensional Connectivity, Smart Innovation, Welcoming the Future Together”. On the occasion, more than 200 specialists from rail industries will get together, focusing on the ASEAN rail market, grasping rail policy tendency, discovering the cooperation occasion, understanding the technology innovation, discussing the operation management mode… in order to thoroughly understand ASEAN market, formulate overseas development strategies, extend contacts and present Corporate Images.
This summit is fully supported by 10 rail institutes from 8 countries of ASEAN, including the Ministry of Transport of Malaysia, Ministry of Human Resources of Malaysia, Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Malaysia, State Railway of Thailand, Philippine National Railways, Light Rail Manila Corporation, SMRT, The Light Rail Transit Authority, Sri Lanka Railways, Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation Sri Lanka.
