Customized Train Push Buttons, Sounders and Signal Lights for the Railway Industry

TSL-ESCHA develops, manufactures and distributes customized door opening push buttons, signal devices, buzzers and LED signal lights for the railway industry. More than one million push buttons have already left TSL production facilities in Halver, Germany. Superior technology, including millions of safe switching operations under tough operating conditions, fast implementation of customer requests and excellent service make TSL-ESCHA the leading manufacturer in the industry.

TSL products focus on simple and intuitive operation to make it easy – particularly for persons with reduced mobility – to travel by bus and train. All door opening push buttons, buzzers and LED signal lights comply with the TSI-PRM standard and current rail standards.

Made in Germany but Worldwide Use in Trains, Trams, Metros and Buses

Touch, signal and light are in the company DNA. This is even reflected in the company name: TSL. More than 35 years of success, which has made TSL the market leader for push buttons.

Everyone who travels by bus or train comes into contact with TSL-ESCHA products at some point. Hamburg, Zurich, Milan, Moscow, Melbourne, Mauritius and Quito – TSL solutions are installed in thousands of vehicles around the world: door opening push buttons, LED signal lights, buzzers, and optical indicators. TSL has already produced over a million push buttons alone.

TSL-ESCHA GmbH is a steadily growing company. More than 100 employees now work at its location in Halver, North Rhine-Westphalia. TSL-ESCHA relies on “Made in Germany” quality. In order to operate globally, TSL works closely with sales partners in over 30 countries. “As a proven partner to the global rail industry, we develop intelligent products and custom-tailored solutions for our customers in order to offer all passengers the greatest possible comfort and reliability,” says Managing Director Lutz Hoefer, underlining the company philosophy.

TSL Offers Many Years of Experience and Good Customer Service

The TSL-ESCHA success story began in Halver, Germany, in 1986. At that time, it laid the foundation for the production and distribution of door opening push buttons for both road and rail vehicles. The PK series was the first push button, which is still successfully in use today. Since day one, high-quality products and innovative spirit have been the company’s claim.

The company credo: TSL find a solution for you, its customers. Want to adapt existing products to meet your technical requirements? No problem. In personal conversations with its sales representatives or technical office staff, TSL develop a solution in close cooperation with its customers.

More Safety, Comfort and Reliability in Public Transportation

The company goal: TSL want its products to make bus and train travel safe, comfortable and reliable for all passengers. When it comes to development and design, the company is increasingly focusing on passengers with reduced mobility. They should be able to easily spot and use TSL products in order to safely use public transportation – all push buttons, indicator devices and lights comply with the recommendations of the relevant associations and meet the legal requirements, including TSI-PRM. In its in-house test laboratory TSL subject its products to long-term tests for service life, weather resistance and compatibility with cleaning chemicals. The company also carry out electrical and lighting tests.

TSL’s motivated employees ensure its company’s steady and successful growth. To this end, TSL unite everything involved in a strong group of companies: electronic and mechanical development, production as well as tooling, plastics and connection technology.
