COSAMIRA comprises bogie mounted data collection and analysis hardware with on-board data analytics linked via our secure data transfer technology to a range of dashboard software solutions for a fleet wide overview.
COSAMIRA enables an operator to have a real time continuous overview of all aspects of the bogie operation including wheel bearings, wheels, traction motors, gearbox, braking systems and bogie instability. In addition the sensors will identify and report on various track anomalies and provide a GPS stamped location to ensure repair teams are sent to exactly where they are needed.
Making use of varying sensor systems, the COSAMIRA ‘Edge’ bogie mounted data collection and analysis hardware runs configurable algorithms to provide meaningful decision support information to maintenance managers and predicts component wear and potential failure enabling the pre-positioning of equipment, spares and staff for maximum efficiency and cost reduction.
