Mitsubishi Electric Transportation Systems
Mitsubishi Electric Transportation Systems (TS) is a relatively new division in Europe. Boasting over 100 years of innovative engineering and manufacturing history in Japan, Mitsubishi Electric has decided to grow the footprint of its Transportation Systems division in Europe through capital alliance and industrial partnerships with local players. Today, TS are based in Germany and Spain, with local partners and sites in Finland, Italy and Poland. The statement of the company “Changes for the Better” is underlined by a clear commitment of the top management to “solve social challenges through “circular digital engineering”, putting the focus on sustainability (energy-savings), innovation and robustness of products.
The company offers bundled solutions to car-builders and railway operators for new-built or rolling stock refurbishment. Mitsubishi Electric is committed to further expanding its global manufacturing and services base, building close partnerships with the local communities in Europe.
Achieving a sustainable society is at the heart of our transportation system development. We combine monitoring and control technologies with energy-saving innovations for rolling stock, stations, depots and train lines.
