Check Out Our Eco-Friendly Products at Rail Live!

Next month’s Rail Live event offers the perfect opportunity to see first-hand our innovative range of sustainable products for rail construction projects.

Held at the Long Marston Rail Innovation Centre in Warwickshire from 21-22 June 2023, Rail Live is the largest outdoor rail exhibition in the UK, attracting more than 5,000 industry professionals a year.

Complete Composite Systems (CCS) partner and exclusive UK rail stockist, Scott Parnell, will be showcasing our cutting-edge products specifically designed to cut the carbon footprint of rail projects, improve workforce safety, provide significant cost benefits, and reduce long-term maintenance.

On display will be ARCOSYSTEM® — the rail industry’s benchmark elevated cable management system.Manufactured from pultruded glass fibre reinforced polymers (GRP) for excellent structural and load-bearing performance, this robust yet lightweight cable troughing offers unrivalled durability in all weathers and can span 6 metres between support posts for efficient installation. Its flexibility and bespoke range of bracketry ensures the system can be post-mounted, wall-hung or fixed to a variety of trackside structures such as railings, bridges, hillside slopes, noise barriers or rock walls.

Visitors to the exhibition can also take a look at our pioneering foundation material TECHNO-CRETE® — an eco-friendly alternative to concrete post mix for securing a variety of posts in place during rail construction jobs. TECHNO-CRETE® is a two-part, high-density hydrophobic polyurethane made from a blend of recycled organic mineral oils from the catering trade and sustainably grown rapeseed oil. Once mixed, the blend foams to form a structurally robust, solid foam.

Also on show will be our TouchSAFE composite palisade fencing, ideal for safely enclosing electrical equipment such as railway substations, LOC suites and OLE masts. Maintenance-free and non-conductive with zero metal parts, this secure GRP-constructed fencing releases fewer carbon emissions into the atmosphere than traditional metal fencing while no earth bonding is required during installation, saving time and money.

Finally, our GRP ballast boards will be available to view. Designed to protect railway tracks and lineside facilities on embankments from rockfall or snowslide, the pultruded profiles offer anti-corrosive and anti-UV properties for a long life with no maintenance.

Visit the Scott Parnell team at stand L46 at Rail Live to see these innovative products in person. In the meantime more details are available by contacting the technical experts at Complete Composite Systems.
