See CCS’ Ground-Breaking Products at Rail Live 2022

A range of our innovative composite and engineered plastic products will be showcased at the Rail Live 2022 exhibition in Warwickshire.

The event, being staged at the Long Marston Innovation Centre from June 22-23, is the UK’s largest outdoor rail exhibition and our stockist Scott Parnell will be there at stands E7 & E9, giving visitors a chance to see our cutting-edge products in person and ask the team any questions.

On display will be ARCOSYSTEM® — our robust yet lightweight cable management system that can span six metres between support posts. The pultruded troughing (pictured) is secured in place with a range of bespoke bracketry, and can be installed along challenging routes where trackside access is problematic.

Visitors to the exhibition will also be invited to see our GRP palisade fencing system TouchSAFE®. Supplied in full panels to make installation quicker and easier, this fencing provides a strong, non-conductive barrier for the safe containment of electrical equipment on rail applications.

Also on view will be our pioneering foundation material TECHNO-CRETE® — an eco-friendly alternative to concrete post mix for securing a variety of posts in place trackside. TECHNO-CRETE® is a two-part, high-density hydrophobic polyurethane made from a blend of reprocessed oil from the catering industry and sustainably grown rape seed oil. Once mixed, the blend foams to form a structurally robust, solid foam.

Finally, visitors can also see our newly designed composite ballast boards. Suitable for protecting railway tracks and trackside facilities on embankments from the likes of rockfall or snowslide, the glass fibre-reinforced isophthalic polyester pultruded profiles provide anti-corrosive and anti-UV properties for a long life with no maintenance required.
