Navigating Bridges Is No Problem for ARCOSYSTEM®

Our adjustable cable management product ARCOSYSTEM® proved it can be successfully attached to a range of bridges during a group of recent challenging installations.

The jobs were each located around the city of Darmstadt, near Frankfurt in Germany. They presented a host of practical installation issues to solve, including having to mount the cable troughing on top of ballast boards and designing a ‘river jump’ of more than ten metres.

The various projects highlighted the proficiency and versatility of ARCOSYSTEM®, an elevated cable management system manufactured from pultruded fibre-reinforced polymers (FRP) and secured by laser-cut steel brackets. The lightweight troughing allows for height and directional adjustments to be made with ease when running it along complex routes. ARCOSYSTEM® can be post-mounted, wall-hung or attached to an assortment of trackside structures such as bridges or even roadside barriers.

ARCOSYSTEM® can span six metres between supports, allowing for quick and cost-effective installation, especially when used in conjunction with our eco-friendly foundation material TECHNO-CRETE®, an innovate alternative to concrete post mix.

Exclusively distributed in the UK by Complete Composite Systems, ARCOSYSTEM® carries cable loads of up to 90kg/m. Being constructed from durable materials ensures a constant working temperature range of -40˚C to +80˚C, allowing it to withstand continuous freeze-thaw cycles.

The product is manufactured by our Swiss partners, Castioni Kabelführungssysteme GmbH, and the exclusive UK rail stockist is Scott Parnell. For enquiries, feel free to get in touch with our technical experts at Complete Composite Systems.
