CCS Achieves ISO 9001 Certification

We are delighted to announce that Complete Composite Systems has been awarded ISO 9001 accreditation, a widely recognised benchmark for achieving exceptional quality across the UK and international markets.

The exciting news means that CCS has been independently audited and found to meet the requirements of standard ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System Scope of certification.

In our case this specifically relates to ‘the provision and development of engineering solutions through composite and steel products for rail and civil infrastructure using innovative foundation materials’.

A Quality Management System (QMS) is one of the most effective ways of reassuring prospective clients that a company has the competency to meet their project’s aims and objectives. A QMS such as ISO 9001:2015 is a globally recognised standard that sets out a criteria of business processes which define a company’s commitment to creating products and services in accordance with pre-defined standards. It is based on several quality management principles, including a strong customer focus, the input of high-level management, a process approach, and continual improvement in every aspect of the company’s operations within the appropriate regulatory framework.

We at CCS are extremely proud to reach this milestone and believe that it further strengthens our ability and commitment to meet and exceed the expectations of our clients and business partners. The certification demonstrates that our systems in place meet the high standards set out by the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO), and serves as a testament to the rigorous processes and high professional values we uphold at CCS.

This development comes hot on the heels of the publication of Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) for two of our products, TouchSAFE composite palisade fencing and composite ballast boards. An EPD is a document that demonstrates a company’s strong commitment to environmental responsibility and transparency, and is based on a third-party-verified life cycle assessment (LCA) that calculates the environmental impact — such as greenhouse emissions — of a product throughout its entire lifespan.
