Complete Composite Systems: ARCOSYSTEM® Works Downhill

The versatility of ARCOSYSTEM® — our benchmark cable management product — was clear for all to see during a recent installation in Switzerland.

The challenging hillside project was carried out by Deutsche Bahn in the town of Neuhausen am Rheinfall, near the famous Rhine Falls tourist attraction, a powerful cascade of waterfalls.

Plenty of technical research and expertise was required to make this case a success. A steep lineside environment meant engineers had to maximise the impressive flexibility of ARCOSYSTEM®, a lightweight and secure cable management system which is proving to be a popular and reliable elevated cable troughing option throughout Europe.

Designed to be post-mounted, wall-hung or fixed to lineside structures with a bespoke range of laser-cut steel bracketry, the versatile troughing enables height and direction changes to be made with ease. The demands for this assignment in Neuhausen am Rheinfall required the planning and installation of a sharp downhill route — and ARCOSYSTEM® was up to the job.

Constructed from pultruded troughs and lids, ARCOSYSTEM® is an extremely durable product, its stable and long-lasting structure able to withstand extreme weather conditions. Posts can be fixed as far as six metres apart, reducing both installation time and labour costs.

Manufactured by our Swiss partners, Castioni Kabelführungssysteme GmbH, ARCOSYSTEM® is exclusively distributed in the UK by Complete Composite Systems and the exclusive UK stockist is Scott Parnell.
