Running Gear
Running gear includes all mechanical components that enable a train to run on the track, such as bogies, wheelsets, axles, bearings and suspension systems. These components support the vehicle’s weight, guide it safely along the rails and absorb forces during operation to ensure ride quality, stability and safety.
