Railforum has existed since 1992 and is the independent knowledge network of 200 companies and organisations active in the broad rail sector
Central to the association is the exchange of knowledge and experiences, in order to increase the social and economic return on rail transport. The emphasis is on accelerating (process) innovations. Railforum offers its services and coordinates with other sectors, politics and science.
At Railforum, companies and organisations are connected that value the social importance of rail transport for both people and goods. It brings together shippers, transporters, builders, consultants and authorities to exchange knowledge and experiences.
Railforum involves all levels and generations in its activities. In projects, the knowledge of members is linked to new insights. In this way, the association encourages cooperation in the rail sector and creates room for improvement.
