Stadler has announced details of its upcoming participation at InnoTrans 2024, which will take place at Messe Berlin from 24 to 27 September.
At the trade fair, Stadler will present eight vehicle concepts, alongside its innovations in services and signalling.
In particular, the company’s stand will focus on alternative, environmentally friendly drive solutions to decarbonise rail travel.
Its vehicles will feature accessible entrances, bright and friendly passenger areas, digital information and communication systems, and facilities for passengers with special requirements.
The company will also display signalling solutions, including automatic train protection and control systems, driver assistance systems and interlocking technologies.
At InnoTrans, Stadler will present eight complete vehicles:
Follow the Railway-News newsletter for more information to come on each of these vehicles.
Alongside rail vehicles, Stadler’s stand will showcase products from its Signalling division.
This will include Stadler NOVA Pro, a modular solution for driverless communication-based train control (CBTC). NOVA Pro is compatible with any wireless network and is thus ideal for integration into existing infrastructure.
In addition, the company will present Stadler NOVA Pro GoA4 – Depot, which is set to make shunting operations fully automatic on the Waldenburg railway near Basel.
Meanwhile, Stadler NOVA Smartsense is an advanced driver assistance system that can be individually configured. It ensures increased driving safety in railway operations thanks to high-quality object recognition.
Stadler will also present its modular MOFIS passenger information system for bus and railway platforms at the trade fair. This system provides dynamic updates on departure times, including actual times, targets, and disruptions.
With appropriate configuration, this system can assist rail operators in enhancing operations through coordinated processing and optimisation of connections.
Stadler Signalling will also exhibit its newly developed EUROLOCKING electronic interlocking system.
This system is freely scalable and can be used for standard and narrow gauge railways, as well as mountain railways and trams.
EUROLOCKING uses a digital platform and represents a further step towards the deployment of digital interlocking (DSTW).
At InnoTrans, Stadler’s Service division will present its full range of services.
This includes Full Service, which offers preventive and corrective maintenance as well as revision work. In addition, TSSSA provides technical services and spare parts.
Stadler also offers modernisation, revision and repair work. These services introduce new technologies, increase operational safety and conformity, and ensure vehicles are put back into use quickly and safely.
The company will exhibit in Hall 2.2, stand number 230, as well as in the outdoor area.
