Safety Revolution for Track Renewal Worksites

Located in Amilly since 2006, ZÖLLNER has long-lasting relationships with partners such as SNCF and SFERIS. Striving for innovation and constant improvement, ZÖLLNER developed the newest generation of automatic track warning systems ATWS which have been authorised on SNCF infrastructure since 2022.
The Mission
One of ZÖLLNER’s areas of expertise is the flexibility and modularity of its products, allowing the system to be adjusted to fit all worksite conditions. From small, fast-moving and temporary worksites (for example patrolling rounds) to large worksites with a length of several kilometres (for example track renewal) – the ZÖLLNER mobile radio warning system (MRWS) is the perfect solution.
All warning devices in the MRWS are equipped with the Autoprowa® effect meaning that the environmental noise level is continually measured using microphones integrated into the warning device. Warning signals are then issued exactly as loudly as they need to be yet as softly as possible in order to minimise noise pollution.

Faced with the constant evolution of the rail sector, ZÖLLNER remains at the forefront of innovation, developing solutions adapted to the ever-increasing challenges in terms of safety for personnel on and around worksites. The complexity and density of infrastructure works are constantly growing with increasing investments, making it essential to offer products capable of meeting these new requirements.
The newest warning device in the MRWS portfolio can therefore be easily installed on any track vehicle which means that the warning signal can be directed exactly where it needs to be heard and thus minimises noise pollution surrounding the worksite. The warning device is SIL4-certified, eliminating the risk of human error and creating a much safer work environment for everyone.
