Dear colleagues, dear business partners, friends and companions of ZÖLLNER,
ZÖLLNER turns 75! On one hand, 75 years is a long time, but on the other hand, this is a very short period in the generational chain. Several generations of employees, customers, suppliers and other partners have made the company what it is today – with the freedom of independence, with innovative spirit and as a reliable partner in our industry and for our society. As a result, we have been able to open up new markets, develop new products and solutions and have grown continuously for many years – from 30 employees in the historical buildings in Kiel after the spin-off of the Automotive division in 2001, to almost 400 employees today in our modern building in Kiel, in Germany, but also in Europe and on almost every continent.
Following two generations of the Zöllner family, three generations of the Murmann family are closely connected to this company and hopefully many more will follow.
With this anniversary brochure we would like to mark this special moment, show who we are and what drives our actions. With articles on our three strategic business units Rail, Marine and Public Safety, with contributions from customers and partners, but also with many memories and stories from the past years.
Of course, we do not rest on what we have achieved, but continue to work hard to provide future generations with a new, modern platform for safe and innovative jobs, for confidence in our products and services and for a life in a modern, safe and forward-looking society. I am grateful and look forward to the coming years with all of you!
