Railtex/Infrarail 2021 Opens Tomorrow

As the Whole Railway Industry Gathers at Last, Mack-Brooks Exhibitions Shares Major Announcement

This week, the NEC Birmingham will play host to Railtex, 15th International Exhibition of Railway Equipment, Systems and Services, and Infrarail, 13th International Railway Infrastructure Exhibition. Until Thursday 9th September, a total of 220 exhibitors from 12 countries will present a unique variety of the latest railway equipment.

Railtex/Infrarail 2021

It will be the first time key players of the infrastructure and rolling stock sectors will meet face-to-face to network and exchange in a professional environment since the beginning of the pandemic.

Olaf Freier, Railtex/Infrarail Portfolio Director, on behalf of Mack-Brooks Exhibitions, states:

“We are so delighted to meet face-to-face with the market at last, after eighteen long months without an event of this stature, and we will continue to go above and beyond to ensure we deliver an event that is both safe but also hugely valuable and energising for our participants. It’s been a long road, but we have made it – we thank our partners and loyal exhibitors for their support over the last few months.”

The event is also the perfect occasion for Mack-Brooks Exhibitions to announce their decision to co-locate the exhibitions once again in 2022 amid plans to give new impetus to the concept of interconnected mobility by fuelling the smart cities of tomorrow.

Olaf Freier, explains:

“One of the main drivers in our decision to co-locate Railtex and Infrarail is our vision: bringing together all areas of the sector – environmental, sustainability, passengers and network safety as well as high-speed rail infrastructures – so that a coherent, functional and collaborative network can emerge all across the UK. This 2021 edition marks the start of our journey and is the first stop on the road to recovery for the UK rail market. Next stop: Olympia London from 10 – 12 May 2022. We invite everyone to take advantage of this opportunity to fortify and grow their organisation.”
