Alstom Transport is attending Expo Europa 360 in Quito, Ecuador to present Mastria, a multimodal management programme that incorporates advanced data analytics.
Mastria optimises mobility in a particular city by integrating management of all public transport systems in it: metro, busses and trams. The system can also incorporate taxis, shared cars, bikes and city security systems.
Expo Europa 360 is an annual conference which facilitates connections and encourage trade between Europe and South America. The event is endorsed by the European Union and Chambers of Commerce in member states. The 2018 edition of it convenes at the New Metropolitan Convention Center in Quito, 10-13 October.
The Mastria system will be presented to delegates by Edouard Vagogne, Signaling General Director for Alstom’s North LAM region.
Edouard Vagogne said:
“Alstom has a strong pillar based in technological innovation solutions that meets the growing demand for sustainable mobility systems. Being part of Expo Europa 360, we have the opportunity to discuss these initiatives that will successfully transform the mobility of Latin America countries.”
Alstom has had a presence in Ecuador since the 1980s. The company is currently part of the ACTN and GME-CITA consortia which is delivering and installing the tramway in Cuenco.
