Alstom to Focus on Digitalisation and Green Traction Solutions at InnoTrans 2022

Alstom has announced the solutions and rolling stock it will be showcasing at InnoTrans 2022.

Digitalisation is a key focus for Alstom this year, and the manufacturer will be presenting ATO, ETCS and cybersecurity technologies that can help operators to optimise real-time performance in signalling and multimodality.

Also on show will be the manufacturer’s advanced maintenance data solutions, including HealthHub and dynamic maintenance planning.

Another key area is green traction solutions, and Alstom will be showcasing its latest hydrogen, battery pack and fuel cell solutions for new trains, including the world premiere of its third-generation hydrogen fuel cell purpose-built for rail operation.

It will also be highlighting its green re-tractioning options for existing fleets.

Now in commercial service in Germany, the train will run from Berlin-Spandau to Berlin-Ostbahnhof twice per day for visitors to experience.

On the outdoor tracks, Alstom will be presenting its Coradia Stream High Capacity double-deck regional train and the Traxx locomotive with last mile option and equipped with ETCS.
