Alstom Completes Final EC Commitments for Bombardier Acquisition

Alstom has concluded the divestment of its Coradia Polyvalent platform, its French Reichshoffen production site and its TALENT 3 platform to CAF.

This transaction was required by the European Commission following Alstom’s acquisition of Bombardier Transportation in January 2021.

To ensure a smooth transition, Alstom will fulfil its remaining contracts for the TALENT 3 platform and will operate in consortium with CAF on the existing contracts for rolling stock from the Reichshoffen site in France.

This announcement follows the recent transfer of Bombardier Transportation’s contribution to the ETR 1000 high-speed train platform to Hitachi Rail and marks the completion of Alstom’s divestment commitments to the European Commission for their clearance of Alstom’s Bombardier acquisition.
