These are developed to operate in the harshest ambient conditions, for example the Australian outback where temperatures commonly reach 50 degrees Celsius. We can provide HVAC units to operate from ac power or incorporate specific inverter technology to operate from 74Vdc diesel locomotive power.

HVAC unit types include rooftop mounted, side-mount, wall-mount, underfloor/subbase and split systems. We can provide HVAC units with cooling capacity from 3kW up to 15kW+.

Of special note is Noske-Kaeser Rail & Vehicle’s capability in adapting unit design to fit within specific customer driven compact space envelope requirements.

In addition to supplying new units, we undertake overhaul, remanufacture and reliability improvement programs on other manufacturers’ HVAC units and have a successful track record of adding value to end customers’ reliability especially in the freight sector.

Our locomotive customers include world leading locomotive builders.
