Locomotive HVAC Units
Noske-Kaeser Rail & Vehicle have a wealth of experience designing, manufacturing, validating and supporting HVAC units for Locomotive driver’s cabs. These are developed to operate in the harshest ambient conditions, for example the Australian outback where temperatures commonly reach 50 degrees Celsius. We can provide HVAC units to operate from ac power or incorporate specific inverter technology to operate from 74Vdc diesel locomotive power.
HVAC unit types include rooftop mounted, side-mount, wall-mount, underfloor/subbase and split systems. We can provide HVAC units with cooling capacity from 3kW up to 15kW+.
Of special note is Noske-Kaeser Rail & Vehicle’s capability in adapting unit design to fit within specific customer driven compact space envelope requirements.
In addition to supplying new units, we undertake overhaul, remanufacture and reliability improvement programs on other manufacturers’ HVAC units and have a successful track record of adding value to end customers’ reliability especially in the freight sector.
Our locomotive customers include world leading locomotive builders.
HVAC Units for Metro Trains
Noske-Kaeser Rail & Vehicle have designed, manufactured and supplied numerous metro projects including hi-speed regional metro, suburban metro, inter-urban metro and mass transit programmes through-out Europe and Australia.
Using a series of standard sub-modules, we commonly undertake specific design for particular projects taking into account for the operating conditions of the end customer. Our metro HVAC units have been proven in operation in some of the highest ambient temperature conditions in the world.
Of special note is our successful long-term maintenance agreements which include scheduled maintenance, call-outs/repairs, 24-hour helpline, overhauls and reliability linked penalty / reward schemes.
