Michael W. Upchurch, executive vicepresident and chief financial officer of Kansas City Southern (KCS), will deliver addresses at two major investment conferences in the USA in September: Cowen and Company’s 11th annual Global Transport Conference and Morgan Stanley’s 6th annual Laguna Conference.

Investors in KCS who are not attending the conferences can watch live streams of the addresses on KCS’s website. Upchurch’s presentation to the Global Transport Conference is scheduled for 09:10 ET on 5 September. He will be speaking at the Laguna Conference at 18:30 ET on 12 September. Replays will also be available on the website after the events.

The company, which has ordered 50 new locomotives from GE Transportation, recently declared the dividends payable to investors in October. A regular dividend of $0.25 per share on the outstanding KCS 4% non-cumulative preferred stock will be paid to preferred stockholders of record on 2 October 2018. A regular dividend of $0.36 per share on the outstanding KCS common stock will also be paid to common stockholders of record on 3 October 2018. Recipients of both types of dividend must be stockholders by the close of business on 10 September 2018.
