The event will officially open on 24 September at palais.Berlin, with over 1,000 national and international representatives from business, science, and politics expected to attend the opening ceremony.

Dirk Hoffmann, COO of Messe Berlin, will deliver a welcome address, followed by speeches from Magda Kopczyńska, Director General of the EU DG MOVE, and Dr. Volker Wissing, Germany’s Federal Minister for Digital Affairs and Transport.

A panel discussion titled “From Hype to Reality – AI in the Mobility Sector” will feature industry leaders, including Dr. Richard Lutz of Deutsche Bahn, Henri Poupart-Lafarge of Alstom, and Mohamed Rabie Khlie of the Moroccan National Railways Office.

Convention

The InnoTrans Convention will host expert talks, presentations, and panel discussions daily, with topics covering various aspects of transportation and mobility.

Key forums, such as the Dialog Forums and International Bus and Tunnel Forums, will feature discussions organised by leading industry associations like the German Railway Industry Association and the European Rail Industry Association.

Artificial Intelligence

A new aspect of this year’s InnoTrans is the AI Mobility Lab, where 42 exhibitors from 17 countries will present AI-driven innovations.

Companies like Google Cloud, IBM, and Next Generation Robotics will showcase advances in AI, cybersecurity, and robotics, with special guided tours for AI-based solutions.

The Railway Influencer Festival, another new addition, will also recognise the best trade fair videos, YouTube channels, and social media content on mobility topics.

First and Last-Mile Challenges

In response to the growing demand for flexible transport options, the Mobility+ exhibition area will present solutions aimed at improving first and last-mile connectivity.

A total of 34 companies will introduce new products and services, such as on-demand driving systems, ride-pooling platforms, and mobility apps.

Visitor Services

Throughout the event, Messe Berlin will offer a range of services for attendees, including business breakfasts, a business lounge, and networking opportunities at the InnoTrans Campus.

The event also provides a shuttle service from BER Airport and access to Berlin’s public transport system with an InnoTrans ticket.
