Eurostar Silver Anniversary Celebrated in Photographs

Celebrating its 25 years of high-speed passenger service between the UK and mainland Europe, Eurostar has this week unveiled a picture gallery celebrating travellers’ memorable images.

Contributions of the Past 25 Years

The gallery features contributions from celebrity and ordinary Eurostar travellers’ alike and currently include Olympian, Dame Kelly Holmes in Paris joining the riders of the London to Paris bike ride in aid of the Dame Kelly Holmes Trust and Model, Lily Cole who pictures a band during a boat trip around Amsterdam.

Customers are being invited to upload their own favourite pictures of their own Eurostar journeys from the past 25 years, in return there is a chance of winning a pair of Eurostar tickets.

Customer Engagement Director, Richard Sherwood, said:

“For 25 years Eurostar has provided a unique travel experience where our customers can relax and enjoy the journey from the moment they step on board. The lead up to our anniversary is a great opportunity to celebrate the memorable moments that our customers have enjoyed while traveling with us or when visiting our destinations using our high-speed connections between the centres of European cities.”

Eurostar began service in 1994 linking St Pancras International, Ebbsfleet International and Ashford International with destinations in France, Belgium and the Netherlands.
