Alstom today announced that its signalling activities, including rail control, have been rated at Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) level 3 by LogiQual Inc. This rating covers eight regional centres and 19 projects around the world. The processes, procedures and tools are now standardized to give a consistent level of quality of all signalling activity across the company. Alstom is the first organisation to obtain this rating on such an extended international scope.

This new milestone illustrates Alstoms ambition to continuously improve its processes from development to delivery to satisfy the increasing quality and performance requirements of its customers.
