30 Years of InnoTrans and 80 Years of ZÖLLNER
InnoTrans 2026 was a whirlwind, and a highly successful one at that. As one of 3,190 exhibitors, we had the opportunity to present our solutions to around 175,000 visitors from across the rail industry. The scale of the event was impressive, with innovation, expertise, and ideas on display at every turn. Yet what stood out most were the conversations.

It was a chance to connect with so many customers, partners, and industry professionals who share a common objective: more safety for people on and along the tracks. The insights gained and connections made throughout the week will continue to shape our work in the months and years ahead.
And once again, our booth was more than a place to showcase solutions; it became a platform for conversations and connections, highlighting the value of bringing the rail industry together, much like our Symposium.
This year marks two milestones: 80 years of ZÖLLNER and 30 years of InnoTrans. Congratulations to InnoTrans!
Connecting with the Rail Industry
We are delighted by the number of meaningful conversations we had and we want to thank everyone who took the time to stop by! Your openness and your input remind us why we love working with all different stakeholders in our industry!
Solutions for Global Impact with Guided Tours
Anyone looking to improve railway safety sustainably must think internationally. That is why we were pleased to welcome a delegation organized by the German Railway Industry Association (VDB), bringing together representatives from IC İçtaş Construction, RÖNESANS HOLDİNG, Euler Hermes AG, Metgun Construction Company, Fernas İnşaat A.Ş., VDB, Jebsen & Jessen Industrial Solutions GmbH, Yapı Merkezi Construction and Industry Inc., and KfW IPEX-Bank.
Our discussions focused on solutions that address local challenges while offering global potential, complemented by further delegation visits that highlighted how technology can strengthen and support safety-critical railway operations.
Finding Solutions with Infrastructure Operators, for Infrastructure Operators
InnoTrans provided a valuable opportunity to exchange ideas with infrastructure operators and light rail companies such as Infrabel, Deutsche Bahn, and SBB. These discussions reinforced an important belief: innovation only creates value when it works in the field. Close collaboration with operators and end users helps ensure our solutions address real-world needs and support safer railway operations.
Stakeholders from Associations, Ministries, and Unions
We were also pleased to welcome representatives from associations, ministries, insurers, and unions who share our commitment to improving safety along the tracks. We greatly value these professional, goal-oriented partnerships and the open exchange of ideas that helps drive meaningful progress across the industry.
Feedback from the Field
We are so glad to have welcomed a lot of people who work with our systems in the field every day. These are the individuals who experience firsthand how design decisions, functionalities, and operational processes impact daily railway operations. Their practical insights are invaluable, helping us better understand what works well and where there is room for improvement.
We greatly appreciate everyone who took the time to share their experiences, provide honest feedback, and discuss their needs with us. These conversations play a vital role in ensuring that our solutions remain practical, effective, and focused on supporting those who rely on them most.
We Challenged, You Accepted!
Quite a few brave visitors took on our Reaction Challenge, testing whether they could stop a track vehicle as accurately and safely as our ZGP. The result? They couldn’t. But that’s not a criticism, it’s a reminder of what makes us human. People are compassionate, creative, adaptable, and capable of making complex decisions in dynamic situations. Our systems, on the other hand, is purpose-built fail-safe technology, designed to deliver consistent performance when precision matters most.
Let’s keep working together to find technological solutions that best protect people and their teams on and along the tracks.
