VUZ – ETCS Testing

The VUZ Velim Testing Centre includes a workstation for testing the unified European train control system ETCS. It uses integrated, interlocking technology with real detection devices. It also uses two radio block centres together with rail track components and both variable and non-variable balises.

The large testing circuit at the Velim testing centre is equipped with a complex installation of the ETCS train protection system. The installation allows testing at all application levels of the ETCS route from level 0 to level 2.
