UK: Angel Trains Appoints David Jordan as Chief Operating Officer

Angel Trains, a UK train-leasing company, has appointed David Jordan as its new COO. Jordan succeeds Kevin Tribley in the position. Tribley himself was recently appointed CEO of the company, after his predecessor, Malcolm Brown, left Angel trains to join AMP Capital.

Jordan, who is a chartered engineer with more than 25 years’ experience in the rail industry, joined Angel Trains in 2002 and has served as Head of Commercial since 2011. In this position he was primarily responsible for leading the re-leasing of the company’s rolling stock portfolio and managing new-build transactions.

Tom Smith, Chairman of Angel Trains, said:

“We are delighted that David will be taking on a new role at Angel Trains as our COO. David’s experience with the company, his industry knowledge and his strong core values, make him the perfect choice for the position.”

Kevin Tribley, CEO of Angel Trains, said:

“David brings a wealth of experience to his new role and I look forward to working alongside him to further drive the growth of Angel Trains. He will be tasked with ensuring that Angel Trains remains at the forefront of transforming rail passenger experience.”
