U-lift AB was acquired on 7 May 2020 by FRENO Holding AB.
The company FRENO AB, situated in Pitea Sweden, forms a new group through the acquisition by its parent company FRENO Holding AB of U-lift AB situated in Backaryd outside Ronneby from Nordic Vehicle Conversion AB.
FRENO and U-lift together form a leading group in the market for air suspension systems and chassis solutions for vehicles as well as passenger lifts for trains.
From the start, the new group will be a leading supplier in Europe in these product areas. Sales in Sweden and some 10 export countries are already estimated to be over SEK 100 million this year (2020) with about 30 employees.
Group parent FRENO Holding is owned by Fredrik Jonsson Umea, Jan Fransson Pitea, Erik Fahlgren Skelleftea and Robert Sjolund Stockholm. In the subsidiary U-lift, the company CEO Mattias Olsson joins the company as a co-shareholder.
U-lift will continue as an independent company with all relationships with customers and suppliers unchanged under the leadership of CEO Mattias Olsson.
The company currently has a good market position, order backlog and production situation that will enable continued development and growth.
