At the trade show, you will have the opportunity to discover SILK (Sustainable Innovative Low-wear Kinetics), an innovation developed in-house by our teams at our Limoges facility. This new structure, based on an independent drive system, offers a lighter, smarter, and easier-to-maintain alternative to traditional bogies.
SILK offers tangible benefits for rail operators: reduced wheel-rail wear, real-time adjustment of axle position, a 30% reduction in weight, and simplified maintenance thanks to bolted wheels and easily removable electric motors. This new approach helps reduce operating costs, improve train availability, and adapt to station capacity limits, particularly on regional lines.
