SRS is a leading Road Rail Vehicles (RRV’s) supplier and has in excess of 30 years of experience of supplying and hiring RRV’s both in the UK and overseas.
The RRV’s are based on a conventional 18t and 25t Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) chassis, typically Volvo and being a true versatile RRV, SRS has the benefit of loading materials at the client’s depot, transiting by road to the access point, on-tracking fully laden and deliver the materials directly to the work site, thus removing the need to double handle materials saving time and money.
The large RRV hire fleet comprises of access platforms ranging in height from 8m to 16m, cranes, bridge and viaduct inspection, drum carriers for both OLE and ground cables. SRS also has a wealth of experience in working with clients to solve RRV specific project solutions.
SRS believe we were also the first RRV plant supplier, where at the start of May 2021 we transitioned from a mineral based fuel to a greener sustainable alternative, (Hydrotreating vegetable oil) HVO fuel.
