DiLoc®|Motion

Dispatching and Passenger Information Services in One Solution

DiLoc®|Motion is a web-based platform with multi-client capability that processes information from various data sources (e.g. GNSS positioning systems, control systems) and of various types (timetable data, connection information etc.) and distributes up-to-date information in real time to the display and announcement systems in train stations and in the vehicles themselves. The architecture of the data hub enables access to existing systems via interfaces and allows for integration of DiLoc® into a company’s IT system.

With a view to the customer‘s overall system and our complete solution, we create migration concepts to ensure implementation during ongoing operations.

Some Key Features of DiLoc®|Motion Include:

Accurate planning using a time-distance diagram
Timetable manager – intuitive entry and management of timetables
Disruption manager – manage and publicise incidents of all kinds with just a few entries
Fleet manager – supplying the entire fleet with all the necessary data in real time
Direct control and monitoring of displays and announcement systems in train stations

DiLoc®|OnBoard

The systems solution DiLoc®|OnBoard covers both the software and hardware aspects of providing passenger information on board the vehicles – regardless of whether refurbishment or new equipment. The vehicles are provided with the necessary data, such as timetable updates, dispatch-related changes, forecasts and connections in realtime via the central system DiLoc®|Motion.

By using the open interface MPI (Mobile Passenger Information), it is also possible, for example, to send positioning data or diagnostic data in real-time from the vehicle to the DiLoc® server. It is also possible to directly speak into the vehicles from the control centre via MPI.

To ensure the success of refurbishment projects, the first step is always to analyse the customer’s system on site. All requirements and risks are recorded in advance to ensure the integration of existing FIS components and new technologies in DiLoc®|OnBoard for a smooth project progress.
