Once construction is complete, Melbourne Airport Rail will connect Victoria’s regional and metropolitan train network to Melbourne Airport for the first time.

Trains on the new airport rail line will run every 10 minutes and will serve more than 30 stations across Melbourne.

The Sunshine Systems Alliance will deliver works at and around its Sunshine and Albion stations. This will include a flyover between Sunshine and Albion Junction, an accessible second pedestrian concourse and new forecourt area at Sunshine Station, and a new forecourt area at Albion Station.

The consortium will also provide corridor-wide rail signalling and systems to support the overall Melbourne Airport Rail project.
