Skeleton Technologies today announced the appointment of Kristel Volver as MM Grupp representative on its Supervisory Board.
Skeleton’s Supervisory Board is responsible for planning and carrying out the tasks of business, strategy and financial supervision and is chaired by Oliver Ahlberg, co-founder of the company.
“Skeleton has multiplied its revenue in recent years and plans to further scale up supercapacitor production in Saxony. It will bring major challenges and opportunities to the company and I intend to contribute in every way with my knowledge and experience.”
Kristel Volver, awarded CFO of the year 2020 in Estonia, brings a broad set of business management experience and strong leadership to Skeleton Technologies. She is a board member of MM Grupp, one of Estonia’s largest private equity companies and a non-executive director of Baltic Classifieds Group, a London Stock Exchange-listed tech company.
“We are very excited to have Kristel, one of the top Estonian businesswomen, on our supervisory board. While serving as Chief Financial Officer of MM Grupp, she has overseen substantial growth, bringing group revenues close to 1 Bn EUR. She impressed us with her business acumen and expertise in helping tech companies grow and scale, and we look forward to working very closely with her.”
Kristel Volver has experience in supporting companies for global growth, also in technology sectors. In 2019 she was part of the Disco Elysium launch, which has been named one of the top 10 games of the decade by Time Magazine.
On Skeleton’s Supervisory Board, she replaces Ivar Vendelin and is appointed by MM Grupp, one of the earliest institutional investors in the company.
