The REMSA Innovation Award recognizes the company’s battery-powered web grinder GW110 +S, part of Goldschmidt’s innovative machine portfolio +S for rail joining.
The web grinder GW110 +S is developed for high operator comfort and maximum efficiency on track while supporting emission-free rail track work. As part of the +S portfolio, it reflects Goldschmidt’s commitment to sustainability and innovation in rail infrastructure.

The award ceremony took place on 20 May 2025 during the Railway Interchange exhibition in Indianapolis, USA. The award was accepted by representatives of Goldschmidt’s US-based group company Orgo-Thermit Inc.
