Shift2Rail: Nominations Open for Rail Research and Innovation Awards
Shift2Rail (S2R) has used the Transport Research Arena Conference 2018 in Vienna to launch its ‘Rail Research & Innovation Awards.’
S2R is the agency responsible for ‘smart and sustainable growth’ in the railway industry across the EU, and the awards will celebrate the achievements of the teams which are working to deliver its Research and Innovation Programme. The inaugural ceremony will include awards for achievements in 3 categories: Decarbonisation, Digitalisation and Project Management.
Teams are free to nominate themselves in multiple categories. Nominations can be made by sending a completed application form and supporting documents to [email protected].
The deadline for submitting applications for an award is 30 June 2018.
Violeta Bulc, the EU Commissioner for Mobility and Transport, will present the awards at InnoTrans 2018 in September.
