These contracts are valued at 161 million EUR and are the first Coradia Polyvalent orders won by CAF since it acquired the platform from Alstom in 2022.

11 of the units will be delivered to the New Aquitaine Region, while 7 units will be delivered to Senegal. They will join a number of Coradia Polyvalent trains already in operation in Senegal and the south of France.

Both projects will be carried out in consortium with Alstom, who will supply the equipment for the vehicles, while CAF will design and manufacture the four-car trains at its plant in Reichshoffen, Alsace.
