In today’s world mobility giants such as Alstom must also be digital solutions providers. As such Alstom will be exhibiting at the SmartCity Expo World Congress, now in its eighth year. One of the key challenges to be addressed at the show will be how to move to a form of mobility that is smarter and more sustainable.

Alstom’s solution for operators is called Mastria. The company says it is the first multimodal supervision solution on the market. Mastria links all the mobility providers within a given city, such as bus operators, tram and metro systems and also taxi services, shared cars and bicycles and police. The goal of this solution is to achieve the most amount of fluidity possible across all means of transport. As this solution takes advantage of advanced data analytics it is able to predict potential incidents. This improves mobility management.

These are just two of the solutions Alstom will be showcasing. Alstom will also participate in a panel discussion “Public Transport Networks – Customizing the Way We Move“, which will take place in Hall 2, World Congress Area, on 14 November, 3–5pm.

Alstom’s location at the show will be Pavilion 2, Booth D509.
