On March 5th, AlstomsTrain Life Services (TLS)team joined Ana Giros, Senior Vice President, TLS, Alstom Transport, and Tommy Aspinwall, Vice President, TLS, Alstom Transport North America, for a ribbon cutting ceremony to launch a newCondition Based Maintenance (CBM)Training Center at the company’s New Castle, Delaware facility.
The center showcases Alstoms CBM capabilities and offers customers hands-on product training and interactive demonstrations.The CBM platform is a proactive approach to rail system maintenance that helps customersextend the life of their vehicles, prevent failures, and improve reliability and availability while reducing costs.
Current and future customers are invited to tour the facility and receive an introduction to CBM that covers the broad range of opportunities for its application, an overview of the technology and a demonstration of actual collection and analysis of vehicle maintenance data.
