In what we hope to be the start of a successful long-term working relationship, Pandrol recently supplied an Ultrasonic Rail Testing Kit to SBS Transit Ltd in Singapore.
Our expert technology uses high-pitched waves to identify defects in the rail. A full track inspection service provides an exhaustive report of the location, characteristics and urgency of all defects. All of this will prove highly valuable to SBS Transit, a public transport company which is responsible for the rail management and maintenance programme on several Singapore metro lines.
Pandrol’s director of Track Control Solutions, Gérard Nowak, along with development engineer Louis Montoya, provided training for the SBS Transit operators during a visit to Singapore. We have received great feedback from the customer and see APAC as a huge area of opportunity to develop our track control equipment offering.
