Mobile Induction Rail Welding System
Mirage is proud to announce the arrival of its Mobile Induction Rail Welding System. The collaboration between Network Rail & Mirage to develop this system was described as a ‘game changer’ by senior rail professionals.
Commissioned by Network Rail to develop their IP of Induction Rail Welding, we have also developed our own product IP and patented it in the US, Canada, UK & Europe, Singapore, Japan, Australia & New Zealand.
The Mobile Induction Rail Welding System provides automatic rail alignment and in-track induction welding. The entire welding process, which is both repeatable and safe, takes just six minutes. The system also demonstrates the possibilities for plain line, high-output, underground, maintenance, and S&C in-track CWR welding.
With recent Product Acceptance from Network Rail, sales to UK & worldwide contractors are set to soar. All successful CP6 tenderers have planned to use Induction Rail Welding and there is currently interest from 81 Companies in 40 Countries.

Precision Machined Rail Components
Our in house machining department has the capacity to produce a wide range of milled and turned components.
From simple items to complex 3D shapes in everything from nylon to titanium, Mirage are able to produce precision machines rail components using anything from a simple pencil sketch up to full 3D solid / surface models in a range of formats.
The success of our machining capability comes from the ability to rapidly turn around small batch components; our machinists are fluent in 3D CAD allowing them to manipulate and work directly from clients models. Same day turn around service available.
