Dynamic Loaded Rubber-Metal Components for Rolling Stock
For almost 60 years Jörn develops maintenance and wear-free rubber-metal components for suspension, damping and noise reduction on different kinds of vehicles. We are delivering solutions especially to railway and commercial vehicle applications, but also to construction machines and special purpose vehicles.
Customer-specific solutions are our specialty. We develop parts and techniques for individual requirements. As a technology partner, we impress our customers with innovative solutions at competitive prices.
We produce low-volume series having fewer than a hundred pieces just as we do series having 100,000 parts. The emphasis of our portfolio is on smaller to medium-sized series production. We supply companies in over 25 countries.
The orientation of our business is also reflected in the number of employees. About half of our nearly forty employees work in the areas of research and development as well as in quality management.
Our main applications for rolling stock are stabilizer bearings, anti-roll supports and suspension arm links.
Stabilizer Bearing/Anti-Roll Support Bearing
Stabilizers or anti-roll supports are flexibly mounted. They must be connected in a twistable manner to the axle on the back of the stabilizer, which torques during operation. The suspension links are attached to the stabilizer eyes via flexible bushes.
Suspension Arm Link & Flexible Joint
For applications with only small twist angles, rubber-metal bushes are the first choice.
Mount for panhard rods, longitudinal control arms, transverse control arms, stabilizer links…
Condition Monitoring of Dynamic Loaded Rubber-Metal Components
Some rubber-metal components are not accessible for visual inspections. Instead of dismantling and replacing those components at fix service intervals our new CMS will enable you to significantly expand the years in operation. Replace the parts when it’s needed!
Rubber Compression Springs
Rubber compression springs offer high load resistance in a small installation space. For example, used as auxiliary springs.
