We are delighted to announce that Mosdorfer Rail has been awarded the contract to supply key Overhead Line Equipment (OLE) for the prestigious Ankara–Izmir High-Speed Railway Project in Turkey.
The Ankara–Izmir High-Speed Railway is one of Turkey’s most significant rail infrastructure investments, delivering a modern, high-capacity 250 km/h electrified connection between the nation’s capital, Ankara, and the major commercial centre of Izmir. Once completed, the project will significantly reduce journey times, improve connectivity between regions, stimulate economic growth, support sustainable transportation objectives, and further strengthen Turkey’s expanding high-speed rail network.
The project comprises approximately 508 kilometres of double-track electrified railway, representing a major strategic opportunity for Mosdorfer Rail. As part of our scope of supply, we will provide a comprehensive range of critical railway electrification components, including:
- Cantilevers
- Droppers
- Automatic Tensioning Equipment
- Section Insulators
- Electrical Connections and Fittings
- Associated Overhead Line Components
This landmark project will be managed and delivered through our UK operation, while leveraging the capabilities of our global manufacturing network and international supply chain. Successful execution will draw upon the expertise, technical knowledge, manufacturing capacity, and collaboration of teams across the Mosdorfer Rail Group.
