Universal Sound Module – The Acoustic Solution for Passenger Access Systems
EAO is launching a new Universal Sound Module, from a speaker-only version up to integrated sound generation with adaptive behaviour, to enhance barrier-free usability, reliability and passenger safety in public transportation, for quiet and noisy environments.
The sound module offers the flexibility to configure up to 15 sequences and audio files. A new configuration software enables intuitive adjustment of sound parameters. The functional and acoustic design is optimized for controlled, effective volume emission and is aligned with the Series 56 and 57 design families. This ensures consistent sound emission and a harmonious integration into the design, without compromising on aesthetics or installation concepts.
The Universal Sound Module ensures full regulatory compliance with relevant standards, such as TSI PRM (EU) 2023/1694, EN 14752:2025, and EN 50155:2021, whilst meeting security requirements from the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA).

Extension of Charging Solutions Product Range
The railway-certified charging solutions enable passengers to charge mobile phones or other portable devices during their train journey. Our charging solutions range includes both wireless charging and USB charging sockets and can be supplied complete with power supplies and cabling. EAO is extending this range by adding a new, faster 15W version of the tabletop chargers and a USB-C socket with a multi-voltage power supply to the product line. Additional features, such as the tabletop charger with magnetic locating ring or LED status indicators or our powerful PPS compatible USB-C-sockets can be tested right at our InnoTrans booth. So, whenever you are running low in battery – visit us and recharge!
