The route connects seven municipalities and transports passengers between Saint-Cyr-l’École to Saint-Germain-en-Laye in just 30 minutes.

The Citadis Dualis tram-trains were manufactured by Alstom and can operate in tram mode on dedicated urban tracks, and in train mode on the national rail network.

Seven stations have been constructed along the route, while five existing stations in the Grande Ceinture Ouest have also been refurbished to accommodate the T13.

The T13 service is connected to the RER, the Yvelines train and local bus lines.
